About Us

Calsan Ltd is a family-owned business. The directors are both retired nurses with a vast experience in the NHS.

Anne Bentley is the Assistant Director/Registered Manager, who is also a retired nurse with vast experience in the NHS, with Registered General Nurse and Midwifery background. Anne has many years of experience in care of elderly and running care homes.

Anne is supported by her deputy, Susan Eagleton, together they strive to ensure their team of Senior Care Staff provide an excellent, high standard of care for those who are under our care, promoting people’s dignity, privacy and independence. All staff take mandatory training and training on other areas related to the residents needs. Diplomas in Health and Social care are also encouraged.

We take time to get to know our residents, to find out who they are and about their life experiences. We want to know what makes them feel happy, safe and fulfilled.

As carers, it’s our duty – and privilege – to provide warmth and respect, and to balance safety with independence. We aim to provide as many opportunities as we can for residents to be active and to help them lead a life that is meaningful, occupied and fulfilling.

In consultation with relatives, every resident is given a personalised care plan that’s tailored to their own medical, social and emotional needs. The care plan is regularly reviewed, with input invited and welcomed from both the resident and their family.
